MEET DR. BEN POLAN

Dr. Polan is a life long resident of Massachusetts. He was born and raise in Newton, and has lived in Danvers with his wife Bonnie and adult children Briana and Brad for the past 28 hears.

Together, he and his wife own The Center for Exceptional Dentistry and Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Polan is an avid skier, and an avid Boston Sports fan. His hobbies include creating mosaic and stained glass art, reading and playing bridge.

Dr. Polan attended Connecticut College and Boston University Goldman School of Dentistry. He has been practicing on the North Shore for over 25 years. He is a graduate of the prestigious Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies, (http://www.leadingdentist.com/) and is trained in the discipline of combining aesthetic dentistry and neuromuscular dentistry to provide aesthetics as well as function in the treatment of temporomandibular dysfunction (TMJ). Dr. Polan has also received extensive training at the Somnomed Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and the Allentown Pain Center, training him to treat TMJ, headache pain and sleep apnea.

Dr. Polan has traveled to Israel to provide pediatric dental care to the nation's neediest children, regardless of ethnicity or religious background. He has partnered with Drs. With a Heart, an national organization treating the indigent, and Beverly Bootstraps to provide dental care to those most in need.

Dr. Polan continues to stay cutting edge with the most technological advances in dental medicine. He has studied with some of the leading dentists and scholars in the field of Dental Sleep Medicine. He is a member of The Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the Somnomed Academy, and the International Academy of Comprehensive Aesthetics (IACA). In addition, Dr. Polan has been a member of the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Association, and Alpha Omega.
